Customer Lifetime Value
Our customer focused module now includes a new dashboard that can be used to track customer lifetime value (or performance). This allows users to understand spending patterns of a customer relative to the cost of acquiring these customers.
The view can be further filtered by product, category, date and brand to help identify key patterns in purchasing behaviour to then focus marketing and product strategy on proven repeatable revenue streams.
Image rendering
To help with visualisation of sales and product information, dashboards and segments now include image-based information so users can see visual cues for the data that is show in the platform.
Regional Reporting
We have also introduced a regional reporting capability to our platform, the report allows for comparisons of key metrics across multiple regions. This enables users to compare sales and product performance by geographic region and helps to fine tune marketing and targeting tactics where traction is seen is one region over another.
Custom Homepage Dashboards
Our app homepage has seen a couple of changes introduced, design to make getting to the important information you care about as quickly as possible. The headline change in this respect is the new capability to set stats, charts and tables as the content of the homepage. This means a user can add the most important information to the homepage, ready for when they first login to the platform.
Security
We have completed an overhaul of some security elements within our platform to further harden authentication between non-interactive service accounts. This change is not visible to our users, but ensures our platform remains as secure as possible.
General Improvements
See below for a list of minor improvements and bug-fixes that have landed since our last roundup:
- Updated how charts and dashboard behave when arranging tiles, to give greater freedom on where a tile can be placed
- Introduced a new view for recent items
- Introduced a new view for action shortcuts
- Changed the default scale of the application so users have more screen estate available
- Standardised our action buttons to be consistent across all screens
- Improved processing times for several of our data services, further reducing time to insight for our users.
- Fixed an issue where the loading status of a dashboard caused element resizing
- Fixed an issue where it was not possible to pause a webhook connection
- Fixed an issue where downloading a segment or audience failed
- Fixed an issue with audience data not being correctly paged
- Fixed an issue where in some cases internal traffic would encounter a DNS issue, causing slower than usual response times
- Fixed an issue in the Revenue Breakdown view that sometimes caused an error when drilling into a revenue node.
Roadmap
Our roadmap can be viewed here, and is ever evolving, we strive to ensure that all future features are based upon and prioritised via customer and community feedback.
Some key features to look out for this year:
LTV enhancements: We are already looking to improve our Customer LTV dashboards to enable filter-based comparisons, summary statistics and downloads
AI chatbot 2.0: We love our AI chatbot, so much so that we want to make it the primary method of asking questions of your data, so data access is even easier.
Loyalty: Loyalty has been a key metric for some of our sports clients, we are busy working on ways to measure and identify such behaviours to enable users to understand customer activity in this space.
